Join us for a hands-on Masterclass where you become the perfumer and the maker!

• Never Lose Your Blend: We save your recipe! Order 6-packs of your custom candle anytime you need a gift (we will keep your recipe for 1 year).

• Pricing: $75 per person with 2 people minimum per class.

• The “Waiting” Period: Since the candle takes 1.5 hours to cool, we can recommend nearby restaurants, wine tasting and shopping, or you may return the next day to pick them up!

What to Expect: Your Masterclass Experience

We want your time at Bougie Napa to be as seamless as it is creative. Here is a breakdown of how your 2-hour Masterclass will unfold:

1. The Deep Dive (20 Minutes)

You’ll start with a seat at our blending bar. Lisa will lead a focused session on Scent Theory. You’ll learn how to use the scent wheel to identify complementary notes and understand the "anatomy" of a candle (Top, Middle, and Base notes).

2. The Blending Lab

This is where the magic happens. You’ll have full access to our entire fragrance library. You’ll experiment with small vials, mixing and matching until you discover your "Signature Scent." Once you’re happy with the blend, we’ll help you do the "candle math"—converting your percentages into grams for a professional-grade pour.

3. The Pour

With your vessel prepped and your wick braced, you’ll hand-stir your custom fragrance into our premium hot wax. You’ll experience the satisfaction of the perfect pour, setting the foundation for your finished candle.

4. The "Cooling Hour" & Boutique Perk

Candles require approximately 1.5 hours to set before they can be moved. During this time, you are invited to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of downtown Napa.

• Exclusive Masterclass Perk: On the day of your class, all students receive a 10% discount on all Bougie Napa products in our boutique. It’s the perfect time to pick up our signature scents or gifts for others!

5. Custom Branding & Packaging

While you shop or stroll, we are busy in the back printing your custom-named label. We’ll carefully package your candle in a gift bag with tissue and include a box of our custom Bougie wax-stamped matches for the ultimate finishing touch.

6. The Recipe Vault

Your work doesn't end when you leave! We keep your specific fragrance proportions in our private recipe vault. If you (or your friends) fall in love with your scent, you can contact us to order "Legacy Batches" of 6 candles at a time.
